Rough water has had boaters flipping the coin as to when to go out, but those that can take a little pounding, don't get sick, and respect what Lake Erie can dish out, have been rewarded with good perch catches in 60 plus feet of water and fair to good numbers of walleye. A good rule of thumb is to look for the areas where there is a lot of parking.the number of parking spaces is often in direct correlation to the number of fish stocked in those waters. Presque Isle Bay has been good in any area where there is cover. It was 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 28 inches long with a girth of 16 inches long.
